South State Trading Post is a privately owned company that was founded in 2012. Inspired by the love of the outdoors and the ambition of doing something jointly, two friends pursued an endeavor that has been quite the journey. Beginning something that was as simple as raising a few Northern Bob White quail to train their dogs, quickly turned into becoming one of the largest providers of “flight conditioned” quail in South Carolina.

Combining the knowledge, experience, and passion for Upland hunting WITH over 25 years
of manufacturing experience of durable goods, the company has eventually expanded into various “niche” markets. And so, the partnership has evolved into South State Trading Post - a unique name and brand logo that has become synonymous with durable American made products.
